ARCHIWEST: Our story
Based in the heart of Somerset with a studio in Cheddar, ARCHIWEST are devoted to providing a wide range of architectural services from conceptual design and planning assistance to technical design and construction.
We carry out commissions in the residential and commercial sectors, with most clients based in an around Somerset and the West Country. We specialise in renovation projects, extensions, conversions and works to heritage buildings.
The practice was formed by Luke Weston after multiple years of diverse work in the architectural industry, much of which involved extensive work to historic buildings including country estates like the Newt In Somerset, and churches like St Helens on Lundy Island. Luke is passionate about working with older buildings with a keen interest in vernacular architecture.
Clients can be confident that all of our projects are undertaken through a highly considered and unique process, sympathetic to the original design. We do our upmost to translate your ideas into successful designs and successful projects. Our objective is to improve the built landscape around us, whilst balancing heritage with sustainability for future use.
